Schedule

Friday, October 28

TBD - Volleyball, University of Wisconsin-River Falls

3:30 p.m. – Women’s Soccer, Gustavus

6:30-7:30 p.m. – Parent Information Booth, Community Life Center Lobby
Visit the Parent Information Booth to pick up your tickets for the weekend, nametag, football pass, and schedule of events.

7:30 p.m. – Bethel Jazz Orchestra Concert, Benson Great Hall
Bethel’s Jazz Orchestra presents a great evening of jazz including the music of Gerry Mulligan, Oliver Nelson, Count Basie, and selections from Miles Davis’ Birth of the Cool.

7:30 p.m. – Stepping Out, Bethel Theatre
Enjoy Stepping Out, a hilarious comedy about a dance studio in North London in which 10 women and one man try to conquer their inhibitions and an overabundance of left feet.

Saturday, October 29

8 a.m.-1 p.m. – Parent Information Booth, Community Life Center Lobby
Park in the West Parking Lot and visit the Parent Information Booth to pick up your tickets for the weekend, nametag, football pass, and schedule of events. Bethel Parent t-shirts will also be available for purchase.

9 a.m. – Parent Breakfast, Dining Center
Come join other Bethel parents and staff for a time of food and fellowship.

10-11 a.m. – Parent Seminars, Locations will be posted.

Campus Store, HC first floor
Find Bethel bargains at the Campus Store. Bethel parents receive a 10 percent discount on regular-priced merchandise. The discount excludes textbooks.

11:30 a.m. – Lunch, Dining Center
You and your Bethel student are invited to a special pre-game meal in the newly remodeled Dining Center. Students can use their meal plan.

1 p.m. – Royals Football vs. Carleton, Royal Stadium

1 p.m. – Men’s Soccer vs. Gustavus
Orth Park

2 p.m. – Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, MIAC Championships , Como Park Golf Course

6:30-7:30 p.m. – Parent Information Booth, Community Life Center Lobby

7:30 p.m. – Bethel Choirs, Wind Symphony, Orchestra, & Organ Concert, Benson Great Hall
All of Bethel’s choirs, the Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra, and Stephen Self on the Blackington Organ combine forces for a splendid collage of music that will include something for everyone.

7:30 p.m. – Scotland Road, Bethel Theatre
Be spellbound as Scotland Road probes the identity of a mysterious Titanic survivor. Who is this intriguing woman found on an iceberg in modern day?

Sunday, October 30

10 a.m. – Community Worship Service, Benson Great Hall
Parents and students are invited to join together for a morning of praise and worship, led by the Office of Campus Ministries, and hear a special message from Daniel Taylor, professor of English and author of Letters to My Children. Enjoy fellowship and complimentary coffee before the service.

2:30 p.m. – Scotland Road, Bethel Theatre
An additional performance of Scotland Road.

Reservations

Reservations must be received by Monday, October 24.

Concerts in Benson Great Hall

Receive a discount for attending both concerts. Tickets are $6 each for one concert; $5 each for both concerts. Check the concert(s) you want to attend on the reservation form.

Special Parents Weekend rate: $7 for adults; $6 for students

Parent Seminars

No charge. Please fill in the number of people planning to attend on the reservation form. Sign up for only one seminar per person, as the seminars run concurrently.
