Parents and Families
The Bethel eNews is an electronic newsletter that aims to keep you current on news and events at Bethel University. It comes out approximately once every four to six weeks. Click here to subscribe or unsubscribe.
Undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences are required to demonstrate they have health insurance with a minimum of $50,000 coverage for each accident or sickness.
This insurance can be through a family plan, an individual plan, or the accident and sickness plan Bethel provides through Student Assurance Services (SAS). Students are automatically charged $740 for the SAS policy unless a waiver form is completed by September 14. For more information, visit the Office of Student Life.
Check our list of hotels and motels that includes addresses, phone numbers, prices, and distance from campus.
Do you want to see your son’s or daughter’s accomplishments featured in your local paper? The Office of Communications and Marketing will automatically send news releases for students who make the Dean’s List or graduate from Bethel to the student’s hometown newspaper, unless he or she has specifically asked that this information not be released. In addition, news releases about other student achievements can be sent upon request. You do not need to provide us with the name of your local paper. Hometown newspapers are determined by the student’s hometown zip code.
If your student does not want this information released, or if there are specific student achievements you’d like to have distributed to the appropriate newspaper, contact the director of media and internal communications at gotnews@bethel.edu or 651.638.6266.
