Presidential Search

Search Committee Appointed

Presidential Search Committee is Appointed and Begins Search Process

The Presidential Search Committee has been appointed, and a list of the members is available at www.bethel.edu/presidential-search/search-committee.

The committee has engaged the executive search firm People Management International, LLC, to assist in the search process. People Management is an international consulting firm that serves a variety of markets and clients where people are valued. Their services include executive search, executive coaching, succession planning, and other management consulting around the area of job fit. During the past 10 years, People Management Managing Directors Tommy Thomas and Robert Stevenson have led presidential searches for 15 Council for Christian Colleges and Universities member institutions and one evangelical seminary.

The committee’s first step in the search process is to interview, with the help of People Management, approximately 80 people in leadership positions at Bethel. About 30 of these interviews have been completed, with the rest slated to be finished by mid-July. The interviews will be used to develop a position profile and an organization profile. There will also be an ongoing process to receive input from other Bethel constituency groups.

If you have any questions or comments throughout the search process, please contact the search committee directly at presidential-search@bethel.edu.
