Strides During 2005-2006:

College of Adult & Professional Studies and Graduate School

Caps GS Studying
  • Enrollment increased to 1,548 students, up from 1,397 the previous year.
  • Inquiries increased by 26 percent.
  • Twenty-five relevant undergraduate and advanced degree programs were offered in high-demand fields for working professionals.
  • Convenient evening and weekend classes were conducted in eight locations.
  • Forty-three students were enrolled in the new MBA program in this, its first year.
  • The MBA program generated increased interest in all business programs: Business Management (B.A. and MBA), Communication Studies (B.A. and M.A.); Human Resources Management (B.A.), and Organizational Leadership (B.A. and M.A.).
  • There was growth from 34 students to 58 students in the Foundational Studies program (now called General Studies), an innovative option serving adults who have no previous college credit.
  • Thirty-three students from across the U.S. were enrolled in the Doctor of Education program, delivered primarily online.
  • Visitors for The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education confirmed the effectiveness of Bethel’s nursing program at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Ethics, liberal arts, and character development were explored from a biblical worldview by Christian faculty with a wealth of professional experience.
