Students express appreciation to donors for their gifts to Bethel.

To show appreciation to donors who supported the building of George K. Brushaber Commons, students signed a large thank-you banner and presented it to those who attended the building’s dedication on March 26. The building’s namesake, President Emeritus George Brushaber, closed the celebration in prayer, and guests were invited to tour the 110,000 square-foot facility while enjoying a “Taste of the Commons”—free appetizers from the three dining venues.

Students had their own celebration Sunday night, March 22, upon returning from Spring Break. “As soon as the building opened, there was excitement and I heard phrases like, "Wow! Look at that! This is cool!” says senior Sarah Peterson, an organizational communications major, who also serves as human resources director for Bethel Student Association. “I truly felt like God was right there celebrating with us.”
