Howard Contributes to New ESV Study Bible

David Howard Jr., professor of Old Testament (St. Paul), contributed to the writing and editing of study notes for the book of Judges in the new English Standard Version (ESV) Study Bible, published in fall 2008. The ESV Study Bible combines the best and most recent evangelical Christian scholarship with the highly regarded ESV Bible text, resulting in the most comprehensive study Bible ever published, with more than 2,750 pages of extensive, accessible Bible resources.

Howard was part of a writing and editing team of more than 90 scholars and teachers from nine countries, representing nearly 20 denominations, from more than 50 seminaries, colleges, and universities.
