B.S. in Speech Communication, North Dakota State University; M.A. in Theological Studies, Bethel Seminary (in process)
I am originally from Becker, MN, and then after high school I spent 8 years in Fargo, ND, where I met my wife. Now, my wife and I have lived in the Twin Cities for two years and consider it our home.
Favorite things about Bethel Seminary:
I have a deep passion for learning about God and His Word, and I love that Bethel Seminary provides a place to engage with Scripture and theology in an academically rigorous setting. I also have a passion for the local church, and I love that Bethel Seminary is keenly aware of its role in preparing pastors, ministry leaders, and people who want to grow in their abilities to minister the gospel effectively. Finally, I appreciate the diversity of perspective present at Bethel Seminary. It has provided a great opportunity for me to engage with people who think differently than me in ways that show respect and appreciation for one another.
Before working at Bethel:
I worked at North Dakota State University for 3 years as the Seim Hall Director, and then moved to the Twin Cities and worked at Bethel University as the Arden Village Resident Director, overseeing a building that houses primarily sophomore undergraduate students. In addition, I've been part of two church plants at various levels of commitment and leadership.
