A funny thing happened on the way to becoming
an elementary school teacher — seminary. She always had an idea she’d
work with young people, but wasn’t thinking it would be in a ministry setting.
Then a well-known youth pastor spoke at Bethel about ministry
and calling. Several friends cornered Joelle afterwards telling her they
expected her to change her major to Youth Ministry — confirmation
of her own sense of God’s calling...
