You are invited!
Come hear Edward Gilbreath, author of Reconciliation Blues: A Black Evangelical’s Inside View of White Christianity, during chapel at 10:10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, in Benson Great Hall, kicking off Bethel University’s Fifth Annual Reconciliation Day.
In his book, journalist Gilbreath combines his personal memoir with a probing investigative report to provide an uncompromising look at the past and present state of racial reconciliation among evangelical churches. Noting progress as well as setbacks, Gilbreath offers encouragement for black evangelicals feeling alone, clarity for white evangelicals who want to understand more deeply, and fresh vision for all who desire the fulfillment of Christ’s prayer “that all of them may be one.”
After chapel, you're welcome to join us for the Christian Justice Fair at 11 a.m. and a Community Forum at 4 p.m.
