Spend a few minutes discussing Mexican history with Mauricio and you'll be inspired by his easy grasp of the fascinating details. Good teachers have a way of doing that. So why did Mauricio leave a tenured track teaching position for Bethel?
The short story is that the decision was bathed in prayer and the answer was made abundantly clear. “When I visited Bethel I was so impressed with the maturity and spiritual depth of the students. I can honestly tell you this place has a balance between great academics and integration of faith — both from students and faculty,” says Mauricio.
