As a California native, Jade braved Minnesota winters to come to Bethel. Desiring a school with a missions emphasis, she knew that establishing roots in the Midwest was what she needed to do. But when she got here, God changed her perspective. “I came to Bethel thinking I was going to be in cross-cultural missions, but God had other plans.” Jade now desires to work with high school students. “When I got the opportunity to minister to some high school kids, it confirmed to me that I was being called to work with teenagers.” And how does she feel living so far away from California? “It's a long journey, but I've made Bethel my home for sure.”
