“I had no idea what I wanted to do after high school.” Maren traveled to Denmark after graduation to discover what her passions were. When she returned to Minnesota, she applied to Bethel. “I had no previous Bethel background, but I knew I needed an education with a Christian worldview.” After all the change and uncertainty in her life, including switching her major, she really began to find her niche. “Academics change, things change, books change, but with the biblical foundation that we have, that is where our real truth comes from.” Maren's plans for after graduation? “I would love to teach in an urban setting, or possibly go to seminary; in any case, it's exciting because I have a lot of opportunities.”
