“A great sense of community”

Jason was welcomed into Bethel with smiling faces. "The people were very welcoming." But there was something behind those smiles that made a bigger impression on Jason. They were just a mere representation of a community where he would later establish strong Christian friends and a great sense of community. His faith is continually woven in with his learning, and some of his fondest memories include football games, seasonal banquets, and chapel—all places of community. "I'm glad I went to Bethel so I could be more open about serious issues, worship, and have meaningful relationships with other people."
