“Bethel encourages students to become leaders”

Munya
Biology

"I learned to walk in a hospital and the nurses were my babysitters." Indeed, much of Munya's childhood was spent in hospitals owing to family illnesses and the fact that both his parents are nurses. So it should come as no surprise that Munya would pursue a career in medicine. As a native of Zimbabwe, Munya was introduced to Bethel by a missionary
family. Since the day he arrived for orientation, he has experienced great relationships with people who love the Lord. "Bethel really encourages students to become leaders; that's an area where I have grown a lot." Munya's plans after graduation? Medical school in the U.S. and returning to Africa as a practicing surgeon. "I would also love to travel and share the gospel."
