“It's the pockets of individuals, those people who have made an impact on me, who have been something really special.” As a nursing student, it was through growing close to her classmates that Kari really began to be thankful she chose Bethel. In addition to fellow students, it was the faculty with whom she was able to establish relationships. “I've had numerous professors seek me out. They want to get to know the students, to come alongside and guide us.” Kari has found that one of the most rewarding things about college has been establishing those relationships with staff and her fellow student body. “Life is not just about academics; you have goals, relationships, and family--all those are emphasized and valued greatly at Bethel. I don't know of many schools that do that.”
