Sankofa Blog Submission Guidelines

Blogs / Sankofa : How to Post

  1. Go to the Sankofa 2009 blog:
    http://www.bethel.edu/blogs/sankofa
  2. Log in using your Bethel Computer Account
  3. Click on the link in Tanden’s first post:
    https://www.bethel.edu/blogs/sankofa/posts/edit/add_object?meta_type=Silva%20Article
  4. Enter an ID
    This is used for the URL. Choose something simple with no spaces or capital letters.
    MM-DD-lastname (03-19-brekke)
  5. Enter a title
    This is the title of your blog post. It can be fun and creative.
  6. Check the “Generic” and “All” boxes
  7. Click “save + edit”
  8. Enter your post.
  9. When you’re done click the save icon (looks like a disk) at the top and then click the “Publish Now” button on the top right.

Things to Remember

  • Be as open and honest in your posts as you feel comfortable. This blog is available to anyone and everyone, if you don't want it out there for everyone, don't say it.
  • Keep in mind who you are representing. Remember that you are a Bethel student and you are representing the community of believers here. Make sure your posts and comments are honest, but also constructive and encouraging.
