Create a Silva Newsbox

1. Create the document you would like to embed.
 
2. Navigate to the site where you would like to embed the document.
 



3. Click on the external source drop down menu and choose "Embed a Silva Document."

4. Click "add external source".
 


5. Fill in the ID (no capital letters, spaces, special characters or any punctuation other than a hyphen or underscore), select "Yes" under "Is this a newsbox?", and enter any code in the "CSS Styles" section.

6. Click "get reference" and choose the document you would like to embed.
  
7. Click "add external source" to finish and be sure to save your changes.
  

Common CSS Styles:

To move newsbox:

  • float: right;
  • float: left;

To change newsbox color (use any 6 digit color code):

  • background-color: #2F4C8A;
