Abstract: You have a flash movie that you want to use in Silva.  This document explains how to add that movie into Silva so you can then embed it in Silva Documents.

1. Select Silva Flash from the  select a new item drop-down.

2. On the create Silva Flash screen, choose the Flash file you wish to add to Silva.  You can also specify the title, which will appear in the external source tool in kupu, and the id.  If no id is specified, the filename of the Flash file will be used.  Then click save.

3. The Flash file is now in Silva, and may be embedded into Silva Documents as an External Source.

Some Flash files can take parameters to control how they operate.  For example, the Flash video player has an additional parameter to specify the flash video to play.  See Adding Parameters to Silva Flash to learn how to add more parameters to Silva Flash external sources.
