Wordpress is Bethel's blogging solution. If you'd like a blog of your own, whether it's to list available internships for your department, use it internally within your office, or just for personal use, you can easily request a blog. Someone will be in contact with you to find out more about what you'd like to use the blog for, go over blogging policies, and to set up training.

Why use blogs?

Blogs can be a powerful technology for universities because they have the ability to:

  • Build community among folks with common interests
  • Establish credibility for experts at an institution who have meaningful insights on a specific area

Overall, they can help folks see Bethel as a credible expert on topics that are important to them—allowing them to share our viewpoints or ideas with people in their communities.

New bloggers

We've compiled some blogging best practices to help administrators create a blog that gives visitors the best experience possible.
