This Mathematical Contest in Modeling is organized by the Consortium for Mathematics and Its Applications (COMAP) and sponsored by the National Security Agency (NSA), the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS), the Mathematical Association of America (MAA), and the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM). See http://www.comap.com/undergraduate/contests/mcm/ for further information.

These students will bring all the skills that they have learned in their mathematics and computer science courses to analyze a very challenging open-ended problem in applied mathematics.
