I Come from Montpellier in France. As you can see here the
Languedoc is a very beautifull area. Montpellier
is a city of the size of St. Paul at 10 miles from the Mediterranean. 20
miles inland you can find the Cevennes
mountains that served as a refuge to some French Protestants during the
200 years of persecution against the French Church. It is a good place
to remember where we come from and where we stand as Christians.
There are 2% of Protestants in France for 75% of Catholics. Of these 2%
3/4 go to Church once a year or less. As you see Missionaries to France
and French Pastors need all your support and prayers.
A brief resume of my life
I have lived in France all my life. First in Bordeaux
in the southwest of France. The heart of the most famous wine growing area
in the world. Then, when I was 10 I moved to Montpellier, where I
went to the University after graduating from Lycee (French high school).
I then served in the French Army, and studied accounting before coming
to Bethel.
My interests
I like Economics,
though I double major in Physics and Math. I also have a deep interest
in History. As we say:" One that ignores his past has no future."
On a lighter matter, I am an absolute fan of anything
that flies, from helicopters to airplanes
and rockets.
