Professional
Information After spending fifteen years managing a family business with her husband and later managing a printing organization, Chris decided to go back to school. She completed her master's degree in Organizational Leadership at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN in 2007. She discovered her passion for leadership and emotional intelligence through her studies and reading Daniel Goleman's thought provoking book, Primal Leadership. This launched her research on emotional intelligence and leadership through which she became a certified EQ-i emotional intelligence assessment administrator. She spent two years on in-depth study of how vital emotional intelligence skills are to healthy, successful leadership. Her research project, Educating Leaders in Emotional Intelligence: Higher Education Curriculum and Corporate Training Program Enhancing Participant Understanding and Competency in Emotional Intelligence, created an opportunity for Chris to closely examine how to help leaders discover their EQ skills and to create self-defined development plans. In June 2007, Chris started her own consulting company, Kaiser Consulting, LLC, to offer her assessment services to individuals and organizations. |
