Subj: Accreditation Report

David, attached please find the report we wrote about the accreditation process last semester.

As I told you, the process is now hanging fire somewhat, as no date has been set for parliamentary hearings. However, we have just recently had another (YET ANOTHER!) inspection which Paul had been very anxious about, and which we preceded by a prayer time for the whole school the evening before for a couple of hours. The inspection went off very well, with no significant problems, despite the very evident hostility of the two inspectors. The "final" Education Ministry hearing (it probably won't be final, but they are calling it that) is now set for May 4th, so please hold that in your prayers, and get as many people as you can praying that we will be given full endorsement for parliamentary approval. This is in the teeth of increasing non-Evangelical hostility across the country.

All the very best to you and Jan.

John

David,

Because Dr.Paul Negrut was ill, he didn't go to Bucharest, so we don't have any first-hand reports on what took place. However, I can report that EUO passed through the review process of the accreditation committee with flying colours, which should mean -- in principle, and unless the goalposts are moved yet again, and some new rules introduced or a further inspection and review process required -- that the next step should be the vote in Parliament. That ought to be a formality. We have no date set for this event, so cannot give you a specific target for prayer, but please do go on supporting this need in your prayers.

Many thanks for your love for all the saints here in Oradea!
