PRIMARY POSITIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES
As
Vice President for Operations and Strategic Initiatives for the seminary
I have transregional responsibilities in
As
Dean of the Center for Transformational Leadership I provided strategic
leadership for 9 faculty, 5 directors, and the registrar. I was
responsible for fulfilling the vision of Bethel Seminary generally and provided
curricular structure to prepare graduates to serve and lead so that churches
and ministry agencies can become all they are called to be and do in the world
for the glory of God. Additional duties included promoting high levels of
scholarship and teaching effectiveness, providing faculty nurture, oversight,
and development of each faculty member, recruiting new faculty, approving and
developing adjunct faculty, overseeing budget development and monitor
expenditures, proposing new degree programs, facilitating the integrative
functions within the three centers, and serving in a leadership capacity of the
Provost's Strategy Team.
As
the Operations Director for the School for Executive Leadership at Bethel
University I provided operational oversight for the ongoing development of
the school. My duties included consulting with experts in the field of senior
executive leadership development, proposal of initiatives and programs for
senior executives, and providing structural, organizational, and systems
direction for the school. I also provided input into the development of
curricula for programs and initiatives envisioned for the school.
I currently supervise 7 direct reports and 11 indirect reports.
I
am also Founder and President of Heart of a Warrior Ministries, a
non-profit organization dedicated to helping men live lives of integrity and
honor under God's authority. I chair the board of directors, write
training materials, give supervision to the ministries, develop group leaders,
conduct small groups, and speak at conferences and gatherings. Heart of a
Warrior seeks to stoke the fire in the souls of men so that they proactively
live God-centered lives and positively engage their families, churches,
communities, and places of work for the purposes of God. Heart of a
Warrior seeks to help churches by providing focused men who are committed to
living in bold relief to serve their churches with distinction and honor.
