As soon as you step of the plane the tropical plants can
be seen all around. There are so many various kinds of flowers that are
to be found here as well as different plant not to be found anywhere else
in the world. There are also different animals that are always running
around. Because of the hot weather there is not much need for walls on
buildings that is why many stores only consist of a roof. Because of this
there are animals running around in the stores and even the malls. The
terrain is mountaines. The land does not seem to have a flat spot on it.
When looking around and off in the distance the world looks so green. It
looks all so perfect like it is a dream.
There is something in Hawaii for everyone. There
is activities for... 1. the hiker
At the end of November last year which was 1997 I got
to experience the beautiful beach of Wakkiki in Honolulu for one week.
I had went with our schools marching band which meant all my friends were
going along as well. It was a week I will never forget. I remember as I
stepped off the plane the smell of flowers instantly because the air was
so sweet smelling from all the flowers. The air was also very moist. I
found out while I was there that there is usually a few rain showers a
day. Even though I was in a big city I still felt like it was so peaceful
and relaxing. There were so many attractions to do each day but what I
most of all wanted to do was lay on the beach near the beautiful blue water
and fine white sand. Some of the things I did do besides that were taking
the opportunities to shop in there great stores were you could bargain,
climbing to the top of one of the volcanoes (a sight I will never forget),
taking a cruise along the bay of Wakkiki in the evening so we got to see
the sun set and then the lights of the city when it got dark, and snorkeling
in one of the popular coral reef bays were I was amazed at all the various
fish swimming all around my body. There is so much to say about this wonderful
place of paradise. The people are so nice and they treat you so well. I
would suggest anyone who loves to travel to not miss the opportunity to
visit Hawaii. I plan to someday return there when I get the chance.
