England

This past summer I spent six and a half weeks in England. I started out spending a week in Oxford visiting several of the colleges that make up Oxford University. The scenery was lovely.

I spent most of my time staying with a family in a little village called Towcester (pronounced toaster). Towcester's town center consists of a few shops and restaurants, the post office, the town hall, and the Anglican church.

One day, I went sight-seeing in London. We visited all the big sights like Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul's Cathedral, Piccadily Circus, Trafalguar Square, and the Tower of London.

My last week in England was spent in Cornwall, a region on the southwest tip of the country. While driving to Cornwall, we stopped at Stonehenge in the Salisbury Plain.

While in Cornwall, I visited several interesting towns and monuments. The rocky beaches and blue water were spectacular. I spent one afternoon touring the town of St. Ives.

As I was going to St. Ives, I met a man with seven wives
Each wife had seven sacks, each sack had seven cats, each cat had seven kits

Kits, cats, sacks, and wives, how many were going to St. Ives?
