Anne-Marie Finsaas has served in pastoral ministry for the local church for over twenty years and as adjunct faculty, locally and globally, for over a decade. Currently, she serves as Pastor of Formational at Church of the Open Door where she had been instrumental in developing The Center for Spiritual Formation. Her doctoral dissertation focused on the 'dark night of the soul' and the role of suffering in faith formation. She has taught Spiritual Formation and Children's and Family Ministry graduate courses at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul; Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta, Georgia; Eastern Theological College in Jorhat, India; and Evangelical Theological College in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She has also taught cross-culturally in non-formal educational settings around the world. Anne-Marie is married and has three grown children.
