Jerrion Richardson, MSSW, LICSW is a clinical assistant professor with the Social Work Department at Bethel University. He holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Austin Peay State University and a Master of Science in Social Work degree with a concentration in Evidence-Based Interpersonal Practice from the University of Tennessee. Jerrions practice experience includes working with people in crisis both environmental and behavioral. Jerrion has training in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing and other short-term crisis interventions. Jerrion has also offered clinical social work services including the following psychotherapy modalities: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and (most recently) Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Jerrion prefers to work with BIPOC clients, specifically African American men through his private practice, Reed & Ember PLLC. His research interests include social justice with respect to race and environmental factors and their effects on the development of Black male self-concept. Jerrion, together with his wife, Monica are raising 4 children. Jerrion's personal interests include chess, fitness, and building electronics.
