Dr. Johnson is a retired public educator (40 years) who enjoys teaching and advising Bethel doctoral students, and driving school bus for a small rural school district in northwest Wisconsin. He spends his winters in Colorado, downhill skiing and remodeling homes.

Biography

Prior to retirement from public education, Johnson was the principal of Stillwater, Owatonna and Dover-Eyota High Schools, in Minnesota.   He also worked as a school administrator at Dakar Academy (Senegal, West Africa), and Chisago Lakes High School. Dr. Johnson was also at one time the Executive Director for the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals.  He presently lives in northwest Wisconson but spends his winters in the mountains of Colorado. 

Certificates and Licenses

7-12 principal licensure in Wisconsin and Minnesota. 

Teacher licensure in Colorado.

Hobbies and Interests

Downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, kayaking and backpacking.
