Biography

Kenneth A. Reynhout began his career in the mathematical sciences, but eventually returned to Bethel to pursue the study of theology and philosophy at the Seminary. His doctoral work at Princeton Seminary focused on the interdisciplinary dialogue between theology and the sciences, which led to the publication of his first book, Interdisciplinary Interpretation: Paul Ricoeur and the Hermeneutics of Theology and Science (Lexington). Reynhout has published essays in Theology Today, Literature and Theology, and The Heythrop Journal, and he currently serves as co-chair of the Ricoeur Group in the American Academy of Religion.
