Instructor - EDUC 840 "Administrative Operations & Personnel Management"


Saferite formerly served as principal of Ramay Junior High School in Fayetteville, Arkansas that was recognized (2011) as one of ten "Breakthrough Schools" by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP).  Ramay was also recognized as a "LeadingSuccess" profile school (2013) by the CollegeBoard.    Saferite has been an administrator at the only two public schools, Ramay and Rogers Senior High (Rogers, AR), in Arkansas to be recognized through the Arkansas Governors Quality Program, the state level equivalent to the Malcom Baldrige National Quality Program.  Saferite was selected by the Arkansas Association of Secondary School Principals as "Principal of the Year" (2010) and "Assistant Principal of the Year" (2007).   Saferite is a very average wake-boarder and will never win an award for his boarding!


Saferite has been invited to speak at many national, regional and local conferences or events.  He has worked closely with the National Association of Secondary School Principals, leading multiple sessions at multiple national NASSP conferences.  He has also worked with NASSP to present on two occasions to United States Congressional staff on key issues related to education.
