Wendy Hemme graduated from the nursing program at Bethel University in 2003. She worked as a pediatric Registered Nurse for 9 years before going back to school for her Master's degree. She gained experience in pediatric emergency and intensive care before graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012 with her MSN in the Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program.
