I am grateful for the rich family history that first led me to Bethel. I graduated from Bethel with a degree in Business Management in 1996. My parents met while they were students at Bethel in the 1960s, and my great-grandfather was a professor and a dean at the Seminary even before that. And the legacy continues! I recently added "Bethel parent" to my list of Bethel affiliations. Working at Bethel truly feels like coming home, and I am thrilled—and grateful—to be a part of the Bethel community.

My Best Bethel Memories

My best Bethel memories all revolve around people. Roommates, co-workers, classmates, professors, staff members. The Bethel community has no shortage of wonderful people!

My Guiding Scripture Verse

A favorite verse of mine, and one that I try to use to guide my days, is I Thessalonians 5:11 which says: "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up."

In My Free Time

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Kirby, and our six kids Jacob, Bekah, Lydia, Joe, Anna, and Sara. Some of my favorite things are my family, the outdoors, reading a good book, a post-dinner Scrabble game, walks in the woods, our goldendoodle Sadie, our church family, laundry dried on the clothesline (sheets especially), music, my wonderful friends, our front porch, listening to podcasts, and coffee. I enjoy volunteering at our neighborhood elementary school and serving at our church.
