Role: Experienced Aide
Education: I graduated from the College of Visual Arts in 2007 with a B.A. in Fine Arts.
Experience: Near the end of my education at The College of Visual Arts I took a year long course Teaching Artist Practicum; which enabled me to shadow professional artists as well as teach and create art projects in both St. Paul and Minneapolis Public Schools . After graduating college I taught at two after school programs; Camp Fire USA and Watch Me Draw, serving children ages Preschool-7th grade.
I began working as an Aide at the King Child Development Center in September 2008 with an expectation that God was at work in the lives of, firstly; the children, their families and the King CDC teachers and staff. I have seen God’s favor over this ministry and His wisdom and love poured out through His vessels; the teachers called to serve for His divine purposes and plans. It is such a blessing working with each beautiful child in all their uniqueness and personality; and to help them to be bold and confident in their identity, education, and relationship with God.
For Fun: I enjoy reading and studying the bible, worshiping God through piano and song, spending time with family, the outdoors, and the arts.
