Date

March 16-24, 2019 (could vary slightly).

Location

University outreach in the city of Paris, France. A cosmopolitan city home to 600,000 university students, world leader in arts and European politics, and culture.

The Experience

Maybe you have done a service project trip previously. This trip is a great next step in growing your heart for people and sharing your faith cross-culturally. We will spend the majority of our time reaching out to international students with the love of Jesus. Universities in Paris are home to immigrants from all around the world--many of whom are from countries which are themselves closed to the Gospel. Many university students are atheist or agnostic in practice and see the world from a merely material perspective. Come prepared to learn creative ways to open spiritual conversations and make room for the Holy Spirit to work! Some touring/shopping included.

Our Ministry Partner

Cru: "Reach the campus today, reach the world tomorrow." Cru is helping students reach students around the world to help fulfill the Great Commission. Work directly under long-term missionaries and local Christian Cru students sharing the gospel in universities.

Trip Cost

This team of 10–15 students has a team fundraising goal of about $2,500 per person. Fundraising will be a major part of the year for this team, which will tremendously help the financial bottom line! More information can be provided by Cru staff upon request.

Who Should Participate This trip is suited for students with a desire for a high-level relational ministry. This trip will include personally stretching cultural differences for most students. Strong communication skills are needed as well as flexibility in expectations day-to-day. Students must be ready for physical, cultural, and spiritual rigor, and expect personal and spiritual transformation as they invest more of themselves—including the possibility of verbally sharing their faith.
