This play is set in modern day America where two young teenage intellectuals and activists are reduced to media’s perception of them, from caring community members to criminals. Three decades later, the character Kenyatta, searches for connection and community after being locked away in prison. During that time, the love of his life has fallen in a deadly trap of drugs and heartbreak. Throughout all the disappointment and loss, there is light of a newborn child, Nina. Will she lead a new path? Or, will she be subject to generational oppression? For more information
Transportation will be leaving from the CLC circle at 6:45 p.m.
