Event Description

There are 92 Old Testament references to the ger—the immigrant, in Hebrew: thus, the name G92. The G92 Immigration Conference explores a biblical perspective on immigration, raises awareness about the realities of immigration, and equips Christians across the country to learn from, minister to, and advocate with immigrant communities.

Join us for part or all of this conference to learn from panels, speakers, and workshops. There will also be an opportunity fair to learn more from organizations that interact with immigrants in the Twin Cities area. Everyone is welcome, and there is no cost to attend. Participate in as many events as work for you.

Our keynote speaker is Noel Castellanos, chief executive officer of the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) and founding pastor of Chicago’s La Villita Community Church. He has worked in full-time ministry in urban Latino communities since 1982, serving in youth ministry, church planting, advocacy, and community development in San Francisco, San Jose, and Chicago. Noel was appointed to serve on President Obama's Council for Faith and Neighborhood Partnerships and has served as the chaplain for the Chicago Cubs. He has a deep passion to serve and invest in the lives of leaders committed to serving the poor.
