11 a.m. - 1 p.m. CT
Need to create a LinkedIn account? Or do you have an account already, but not sure how to maximize it? Whatever your level of experience with LinkedIn, Career Development & Calling can help you learn more about it at our upcoming workshop!
LinkedIn is a great tool that is extremely useful for students and professionals. It is estimated that 60-80% of jobs are landed through a connection. So whether you are a first year student building connections with faculty and classmates or an upperclassmen actively looking for a job or an internship, LinkedIn is something to get comfortable with.
We've reserved a computer classroom so that we can help you edit your profile while we answer your specific questions. We can help you with:
Creating and customizing your profile
Searching for alumni and other connections
Finding jobs, internships, and employers
Joining professional discussion groups
We can even help you turn off annoying emails from LinkedIn!
This will be a laid back workshop; no question is a dumb question!
Start: 11:00 a.m.
End: Leave when you need to! We've got the room reserved until 1:00, and we’ll stay until all your questions are answered!
There are 35 computers in the room, so we may need to limit registrations and walk-ins if we reach capacity.
