Event Description

It is often said that adult learners return to school not only for the degree, but also to pay for a network. Bethel University is no different. The Connection is an affinity group of Master of Business Administration (MBA), M.A. in Strategic Leadership (MASL), and Master of Organizational Leadership (MAOL) alums and current students committed to gather with other professionals. The purpose is simple: there is power in our network.

Join us for our next gathering as we explore the topic of purposeful work and spend time connecting with one another. Continental breakfast provided.

7:30–8 a.m. | Check-In and Networking

8–9 a.m. | Program and Q&A featuring Dr. Justin Irving
Dr. Irving is a professor of Ministry Leadership, director of the Doctor of Ministry program, director for Bethel’s Work with Purpose initiative, and a Bethel MBA grad.

About the Program

Do you wonder how to connect your work and faith lives? Why does it seem easier to wake up on Friday rather than Monday? Perhaps you have been searching for deeper meaning in your work or ways to connect Sunday’s sermon with Monday’s mission. Have you found yourself navigating a “sticky” business situation and wondered how other leaders would handle the same situation? Dr. Justin Irving, Bethel MBA grad (2016) and leader of Bethel’s Work with Purpose Initiative, will introduce the foundations of work from a biblical perspective and will press into the intersection of faith and work with practical application.
