What would happen if our churches were places that envisioned, equipped, encouraged, and empowered people to be fruitful in the places where they find themselves during the week?
Join Neil Hudson, author of Imagine Church and Imagine project director from The London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (LICC), and Chris Lake, executive director of the Vere Institute in Boston, for an interactive workshop exploring the vision and journey of churches toward whole-life discipleship.
Through teachings and group discussion, discover six practical ways your church can move forward with a renewed vision. Examine not only the biblical foundations of whole-life discipleship, but also receive helpful tools that have been applied in churches of various sizes and denominations in the U.K. and more recently in the U.S. Hear from a panel of local pastors on how they are implementing these concepts. And get a framework for moving forward along with suggestions to consider as you apply these principles in your own unique context.
To increase the impact of this workshop, we strongly encourage leaders to bring at least one additional attendee from their own church. Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments will be provided.

About the Speakers
Neil Hudson began working with the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (LICC) as the church-life consultant on the Imagine project in 2006 and took over as Imagine project director in 2010. In 2012, he published Imagine Church, which reflects on lessons learned while working with churches as they engaged with the challenge of developing a culture of whole-life discipleship. In addition to his position at LICC, he also co-leads a church in Salford, Greater Manchester. Hudson previously served as vice principal at Regents Theological College for ten years.
Chris Lake is the executive director of the Vere Institute in Boston, a nonprofit ministry focused on helping Christians to be envisioned, equipped, and empowered to live as disciples of Christ in their everyday lives—on their ‘frontlines.’ Lake began his career as a carrier-based flight officer in the Navy, so being on the frontlines is nothing new for him. After that, he concentrated on the frontlines of business, first at IBM in consulting and marketing roles, and more recently as a founder of an educational consulting company based in Boston. He currently serves as an elder with Park Street Church and co-leads their WorkLife ministry.
