Find out how the church contributed to Dan Mead’s ability to live out his faith at work. Listen to Pastor Dan Nold describe the ways Calvary Church supports workers in his congregation. Consider your own vocational calling and discover how you can use your God-given talents in fruitful kingdom service. Explore developing your personal brand as you reflect on how others view you at work. Learn how to intentionally leverage your leadership abilities so you can hear the Lord say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

About the Speakers

Dan Mead is the former president and CEO of Verizon Wireless, the largest wireless provider in the United States. He recently retired after serving the company for 37 years. Mead was one of Verizon’s founding senior executives and he was responsible for the company’s growth, financial performance, and public policy advocacy. He also held several senior positions in Verizon’s parent company, including president and CEO of its Fios bundled Internet access and telephone operations nationwide. Mead earned an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in quantitative business analysis and finance from Penn State University. He is a recipient of the Penn State Distinguished Alumni Award, the highest honor given to a graduate.

Dan Nold is the lead pastor of Calvary Church in Pennsylvania. He has been involved with the Calvary community for over 20 years and loves to preach, develop leaders, and strategize about the future of the church in his region. Nold earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communication from Bethel University and Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Bethel Seminary. His dissertation was in the area of leadership development. He is an avid fan of both the Minnesota Vikings and the Penn State Nittany Lions, and he claims to own the largest sweater vest collection in the nation.
