Event Description

5:30-6:00 p.m. | Dinner (pizza, salad, dessert, beverages)

6:00-7:00 p.m. | Business Meeting

7:00-8:00 & 8:00-9:00 p.m. | Faculty Conversations (optional, but encouraged)

Faculty Conversation Sessions: Both conversations will be held from 7-8 pm and again from 8-9 pm.

  1. Faculty Conversation for Principles of Faith Integration: this conversation provides faculty the opportunity to discuss how to implement effective faith integration principles and practices into the classroom atmosphere and course content. Dr. Elizabeth G. C. Haglind will facilitate this conversation as a follow-up to her professional development plenary presented at the Fall Faculty Retreat. 
  2. Faculty Conversation for Locating Open Educational Resources: this conversation provides faculty the opportunity to dialogue and ask questions pertaining to adopting zero cost course resources for course content. Earleen Warner (Research and Instruction Librarian, Coordinator for Zero Cost Course Resources Initiative) and Kara Wicklund (Lead Instructional Designer, TLT) will facilitate this converstaion as follow-up to the recent Open Textbook Network Workshop and Open Educational Resources Training.
