Event Description

The College Music Tour Managers Association (CMTMA) exists to help those who manage collegiate music performance tours do their job more successfully. Established in 1990, our annual conference provides practical training for those who plan tours as well as coordinate music events for their respective organizations. Members gather to learn from each other about new trends, policies, challenges, and successes that impact our music ensemble activities.

Today CMTMA has thirty member institutions with over forty colleges and universities having attended our annual conference. Members share new touring resources and discuss management strategies for everything from the first phone call, to sponsoring organizations, to air freighting equipment overseas. Participants find the conference inspiring, refreshing, innovative and informative for both new and long-time attendees.

We invite you to join colleagues from across the country September 9-11 for the 2018 Conference being held on the beautiful campus of Bethel University in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

The registration fee for the 2018 conference is $125 per person and includes conference materials and all meals except dinner on Monday evening. In addition, each institution must maintain its annual CMTMA membership by paying $50 at the time of registration.

Discounted registration rates for first-time attendees and reduced rates for the second or third participants from the same institution are available. Please register all attendees from the same institution at the same time to receive discounted rates.

Our conference hotel is Country Inn & Suites - Roseville. The rate is $109 per night + tax. This new property is 5 minutes away from Bethel's campus and includes breakfast and free parking. Special conference rate available until August 21, 2018. Call 651.628.3500 and ask for the CMTMA rate.
