Event Description

Ministry to marriages in crisis can be a challenge. Pastors are asked to help but need resources and training to do so. This seminar provides faith-based divorce intervention training for pastoral staff, ministry directors, small-group leaders, marriage mentors, professional counselors, therapists, and family law attorneys. You'll receive a 37-page training manual and a free copy of Dr. George Kenworthy's book, Before the Last Resort. Lunch is provided.

About Our Presenter

After 21 years as the senior pastor of Maple Grove Evangelical Free Church, Russ Berg S'14 joined Hope for the Hurting Home to help introduce a unique movement to train people to be effective "first responders" to couples struggling with a possible decision to divorce. As a pastoral counselor and the director of pastoral training, he can equip your ministry staff and volunteers to change the culture of divorce in your church and in America--one healed marriage at a time.

Note: During the seminar, photos may be taken for promotional purposes.

Cancellations

Full refund through February 8; 50% refund February 9 to 22; no refund after February 22
