Event Description

The Business & Economics Department invites undergraduate students from all majors (including undecided), alumni, and employees to join us for a special breakfast event.

When she was 45 years old, Facebook COO and mother of two, Sheryl Sandberg, found her husband collapsed on the floor of the gym. He never woke again. Sheryl was devastated. Out of her journey of recovery comes Sheryl’s latest book, Option B: Facing Adversity, Building Resilience, and Finding Joy, co-written with Adam Grant.

Join us for a viewing of Sheryl’s talk at the 2017 Willow Creek Global Leadership Summit, followed by a discussion facilitated by Professor Bethany Opsata. In the video, Sandberg talks about the process of overcoming adversity and provides research-based strategies for how to become more resilient in the face of challenges.
