This camp is designed to develop skills for all levels of soccer players ages 5-12. Camp Mission
At Bethel University's soccer camps, we strive to encourage the growth and development of young athletes to better reflect and live out the biblical witness of Jesus. We believe that Jesus has something very relevant to say regarding the way we compete, grow, learn, and challenge one another through sport. We strive to create an environment that is challenging, fun, and invites participants to challenge themselves to become better athletically, mentally, spiritually, and relationally.

Camp Staff
Jeremy Iwaszkowiec is beginning his first season as the head coach of the Bethel University Soccer Program. He is excited to bring a wealth of experience, as both a player and a coach, to Bethel. As a standout prep athlete in St. Louis, Mo., Iwaszkowiec won numerous awards, including St. Louis Metro Player of the Year, NSCAA Player of the State, NSCAA Player of the Region, and Gatorade All- American and Parade All-American. He played collegiately at Clemson University, where he was a starter and key contributor on two teams that reached the Elite 8, before losing to the eventual national champions both times. In 1998, the Clemson Tigers were ranked No. 1 in the nation for much of the season and won the ACC Conference Championship.

Amanda Maxwell became the first fulltime head coach devoted to women's soccer at Bethel. A former Stillwater Area High School standout, Maxwell has coached Bethel's women's soccer program for two seasons and was a coach and director within the St. Croix Soccer Club for 12 years. Maxwell compiled numerous accolades throughout her playing days, as she was Minnesota Ms. Soccer, an NSCAA All-American, and Gatorade Player of the Year in high school. Additionally, Maxwell was conference player of the year and an All-American at Marshall University.

Camp staff will also include other Bethel soccer staff as well as coaches from area high schools and colleges. Current Bethel players will assist as coaches on the fields and counselors in the residence halls. A certified athletic trainer will be on site for the duration of the camp.
