Event Description

Students: Meet with your legislators at the Minnesota State Capitol to advocate for the Minnesota State Grant program! This program provides critical support to almost 100,000 Minnesotans--that's one in four undergraduates at public and private colleges. Begin your day with breakfast at the Capitol with President Jay Barnes and alumni who are state legislators, aides, and lobbyists. Next, you'll receive training on how to lobby on behalf of the state grant program before heading out to meet with your state legislators. You'll receive a free breakfast and lunch as well as free transportation to and from the Capitol.

Alumni: If you work at or near the Minnesota State Capitol, join us for breakfast on Bethel's Day at the Capitol. It will be from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Capitol (specific location to come).
