Event Description
Care and education for the youngest citizens (and their parents) matter. Join Associate Professor Jolene Pearson as she discusses insights from her sabbatical research focusing on early childhood education in Iceland, Norway, Ireland, England and The
Netherlands.
The quality of care and education received by a child from birth to 5 years of age lays the foundation for his or her future development. Policy makers world-wide are recognizing that providing positive beginnings for children is in their national interest. The policies and practices adopted by each country illuminate priorities and differences between nations.
