Event Description

BUnited, in partnership with BethelBiz, provides opportunities for alumni and friends of Bethel University to connect and collaborate. Our breakfast series is crafted to introduce new ideas, address relevant topics in the workplace and leadership, and start meaningful networking conversations that foster personal, career, and spiritual growth. Please join us for breakfast on October 20 at Midland Hills Country Club and hear from Bethel University President Ross Allen.

Note: Mentoring a current Bethel student is another great way for alumni to get connected, and we are always looking for more mentors to join our ranks. Learn more about the BethelBiz Mentorship Program by visiting our website.

About our Speaker: Ross Allen is the sixth president of Bethel University. As a 1984 graduate of the business administration program, Ross is the first alumnus to lead the university. Throughout his career, Ross has specialized in helping organizations transform their financial results and sustainability while clarifying and advancing their mission and vision. During his 25-year tenure at Medtronic—a multinational medical device company—he used his strategic, relational, and operational expertise to lead seven successful corporate transformations in Denmark, Switzerland, and across the United States.

Ross is passionate about helping organizations perform at what he calls “a God-honoring level of excellence.” In his most recent position as chief financial officer and vice president for business and finance at Azusa Pacific University, Ross played an instrumental role in positioning the institution for a strong and vibrant future. Ross is a deeply committed Christ-follower, a seasoned executive leader, and a transformative developer of people, culture, and organizations. As a Bethel alumnus and parent, he is passionate about Christian higher education and committed to preparing students to renew minds, live out biblical truth, transform culture, and advance the gospel—for God’s glory and our neighbors’ good. Ross met his wife, Annie, when they were both students at Bethel, and they now have four adult children and seven grandchildren.
