Shadow Plays

This exhibition brings together work produced over the last 25 years that is united by an emphasis on hand gesture and shadow to generate narrative and meaning. The contemplative, solitary protagonists in the paintings encounter potentially transformative experiences in seemingly mundane circumstances, mirroring the conditions under which a series of paintings in the exhibition "40 Days" was produced.
